Happy & Sad Day
Saturday April 1st: The weather man must have thought it was funny but we didn't. It was suppose to rain all day, with the addition of lighting in the afternoon. So we got up early to unload the parts out of the bed and remove it. It drizzled the whole time but we managed to get the bed off. (by the way, a Sawsall is you best friend for this) That after noon we rolled the cab and frame on the trailer and laid the bed on the back. The truck is very light at this point. After a 4-wheeler wheelie popping demo by my brother (Bob). We took "That-Can't-B-Good" (the trucks new name) to Jimm's for sand blasting. He quoted us $320 to blast and prime the cab and frame and an added $100 to do the bed by itself. Not sure about doing the whole thing all @ once. It was kinda sad dropping it off... Knowing it will never look the same again. But if there is anything left after the sand hits it, we should have a good clean slate to work with. We should have it back this weekend. Expect lots of pics of large holes.
